Shipping/Packaging

We ship three times a week (unless it’s a Bank Holiday);

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 09:00 GMT.

We will keep you updated with the status of your order and provide a tracking link as soon as we are able to. Please note: If you have placed an order but have not yet paid, you risk losing a shipping slot as we book our Royal Mail collections a day before they are due to be collected. If you pay late, expect a delay!

We ship 12″ records and LP’s in white vinyl mailers with a minimum of 2 stiffeners if it’s a single 12″ or single LP to ensure your order gets to you in the condition described. Any records that are not sealed that have paper inners will be placed outside the sleeves during transit to avoid any seem splits.

All shipping options are sent by Royal Mail tracked & insured service to avoid any issues with missing items and are ONLY sent to the registered PayPal or Debit/Credit card address. The shipping address cannot be changed after placing your order so please ensure the address is correct.

VAT/Tax/Other Fees

We don not collect VAT/TAX on any orders from outside the UK. Therefore any import duties or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. YOU, the buyer will be responsible for paying VAT/TAX on import of your order.


Cancellation/Changes To Your Order

Please note that we do not cancel orders unless for any reason the item is not available so please bear this in mind when placing an order and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

Any messages to change either your order or your address after your order is placed will be ignored. This includes if you have ordered in error (i.e. you already “have” the item(s) and wish to cancel or change them – it’s your responsibility to know what you already have before ordering).


Condition/Grading

All items listed and sold are brand new stock unless otherwise the condition of both the sleeve and vinyl will be stated.

ALL vinyl records are subject to surface noise – this is a fact due to the nature of the medium and this will vary depending on how quietly the recording is and the equipment you use to play it back on. Album’s/LP’s are subject to more surface noise than 12″ singles/EP’s as they contain more music – the shorter the music on each side the less surface noise there will be. Even brand new records that are still sealed will have an element of surface noise.

Please note with second hand items that are from the 80s, 90’s etc will have more wear than newer items and are graded as accurately as possible. If there are slight audible clicks/pops/surface noise we suggest cleaning the record as dust builds up in the grooves and after a good clean will return it to it’s best – please do this BEFORE contacting us. If we have made an error with the grading though we will be open to making things right. We are happy to discuss and resolve any issues.

Please also bear in mind that Trax Records & other Chicago associated label releases and most ‘unofficial / bootlegs’ were pressed with second hand vinyl (on the cheap) and WILL have defects / surface noise regardless of the graded condition and are therefore exempt from refunds/returns.


Liability

We take pictures and record ALL second hand items digitally as evidence in case of a PayPal dispute.

Recorded as 16bit 44.1kHz wav files.

We use an iPhone 15 Pro to take images of the records and sleeves.


Your Responsibility/Refund Policy

Please ensure when you order you intend to make payment within 1 day, otherwise, we will automatically cancel your order.

We block non paying buyers and timewasters from making future purchases.

Please make sure your details are correct and that if you have moved house you have updated ALL fields of your address correctly.

If your post code is incorrect (we use Royal Mail for all our shipping) this will delay your order being shipped.

We require your FULL NAME for all orders, please ensure you fill in your details in full – if we have to ask you for this, again it will delay your order being shipped.

If your order is returned to us as undelivered (you were not in or did not collect it from your local delivery depot), you will have to pay postage costs to have your order re-shipped as it is your responsibility to accept or collect your order from your local postal service.

Any issues MUST be reported to us within 7 days of you receiving your order and buyers are responsible for the cost of returning any item(s) to us.

If we have not heard from you and 7 days or more has passed since you received your order then we deem everything to be fine and that you are happy with your order.

All sealed copies, once opened by you will not be eligible for a refund.

Any refunds are for the item(s) only and are subject to 4.9% + £0.20p transaction fee as PayPal no longer reimburse their fees when refunding.

We do not under any circumstances offer any partial refunds.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I can’t buy a release I have in my basket as it says below minimum amount required, is there a way to buy this?

A: Yes, add other item(s) to your basket so that the value is £20.00 or more. You are getting FREE Shipping on ALL orders as it is.

Q: Can I have a discount?

A: No, if you ask for discounts you will be blocked as we regularly update our prices, if you can’t afford them, save up.

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?

A: We take payment via the following – Direct Bank Transfer, Apple Pay, Debit & Credit Cards and PayPal.

Q: I want to buy item(s) as a gift for my friend/lover/dog etc, can you ship them to another address?

A: No, we only ship to the registered PayPal/Debit or Credit card address. If it’s intended as a gift, buy it and send it on yourself.
